We’re a truly creative and highly professional partnership – and nice, friendly people with it. We pride ourselves on how we work with others, how we manage each project, how we develop and realise each job creatively and how we exceed expectations wherever possible.
As a boutique set-up, clients get to work with us directly and we get to know what makes them tick. This helps us understand their needs and translate them into tailor-made productions that engage, motivate, inspire and inform at just the right level.
We have the skills and expertise to do everything in-house, only occasionally (and transparently) sourcing outside suppliers in completing a project.

Gary’s day-to-day roles embrace director, concept designer and developer, cinematographer, animator, motion graphics artist, editor and post-producer. These are intuitively informed by his life-long passions for filmmaking, drawing, illustration and music. As a graduate of St Martin’s College of Art and Design, his career history spans creative industries including publishing, broadcast production design, film, conferences and events.
A listener and thinker, Gary is excellent at the technical too. This means that clients benefit from valuable advice and support in what can often seem like a baffling, ever-changing multimedia world, ensuring that they receive exactly what they need in terms of ‘deliverables’.
Gary is also a qualified teacher with experience across the educational spectrum, which enables him to offer specialist training to individuals and organisations.

In her role as producer, Susan offers clients the benefits of excellent organisation, planning and communication at all stages of the production process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, to budget and above expectations. She has a dual role as a creative, helping to develop briefs and proposals, writing all scripts and on-screen content and assisting with editing.
Susan’s practical and creative skills were honed through her previous experience in the publishing industry. As an award-winning author of children’s non-fiction for Usborne Publishing and Dorling Kindersley, she became skilled in not only focusing on the target audience but in collaborating with suppliers to realise each project.
Like Gary, Susan has a background in art and music, which perfectly complements their combined offering as Assemblage.
